David Martin was out visiting with his son Chris in Wisconsin, where he had been working in West Coast

sales for Kuryakyn Holdings. This is where the dream for The Chrome Stop! was originated, only to

become a reality a short time later.

Chris was born and raised in Big Bear Lake and David being in Real Estate and Land Development for over

30 years. Both having close ties to Big Bear, it seemed only appropriate that Big Bear should also be the

birthplace of The Chrome Stop.

So in June of 2007 after months of hard work and planning Chris and David started remodeling a 2400  

sq.ft. store front that would soon become The Chrome Stop.

Opening the doors on July 1st 2007 they only could have imagined how wonderful the store would turn 

out, it's the finest showroom either have ever seen!

With a full line of Chrome, Luggage and Leathers for Harley and Metric Cruisers, motorcycle enthusiast

will surely love the biker friendly shop with clean restrooms and water on ice for all the touring biker's

coming through the area.

So stop on by and say hi. Just another reason to ride to Beautiful Big Bear Lake!
